The Strangers: Prey at Night (2018)
In the sequel to The Strangers (2008), a family of four is terrorised when they make a stop at a secluded mobile home park. The plot offers nothing new, but the visuals are at times very fresh and the film is very entertaining. The 80s soundtrack gives the film a nostalgic vibe back to the horrors of yesteryears like A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) and Christine (1983). My favorite scene in the movie is the neon light pool fight perfectly timed to Bonnie Tylers iconic “Total Eclipse of the Heart”. That was pure horror magic! If you like horror movies then give The Strangers: Prey at Night (2018) a shot. If not, you’ll live a perfectly happy life without.
